Rachel Faulkner, a Maumelle, AR native, earned her Bachelor of Arts in Biology from the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville before pursuing dental school at ATSU-Missouri School of Dentistry. While in dental school, Rachel distinguished herself academically, earning induction into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Dental Honor Society, a prestigious national honor society that recognizes excellence in the field of dentistry, and receiving a special distinction in oral medicine. Dr. Rachel devoted time to community service, working with Arkansas Missions of Mercy, Veteran focus clinics, and a dental mission trip to Panama.

Rachel’s professional journey is deeply rooted in her family’s longstanding connection with the Jirik family. Her grandfather, J.J. Faulkner, collaborated closely with Dr. Jirik’s father in their careers. Their partnership, marked by both professional work and personal friendship, saw J.J. providing glass for buildings his father designed, and later, for Dr. Jirik’s dental office.

This bond extended to Rachel’s father, who, after a car accident that resulted in loss of teeth, benefited from Dr. Jirik’s pioneering work in implant dentistry. Dr. Jirik’s exceptional care transformed her father’s life, leading him to become a lifelong patient.

Growing up, Rachel witnessed firsthand the impact Dr. Jirik had on her family, fostering a deep respect for his work. While in school, Rachel had the opportunity to shadow Dr. Jirik, further solidifying her admiration for his practice. Now, as an associate dentist in Dr. Jirik’s practice, Rachel is thrilled to continue this legacy, offering general, cosmetic, and sedation dentistry to Central Arkansas.
